Cookie Policy
The short version: this website is built to work without tracking you. It sets no cookies when a page loads.
The short version
This site sets no cookies when you open a page. It carries no analytics, no advertising and no marketing cookies, and nothing that follows you around the web or builds a profile of you.
Because of that, there is no cookie banner to click through — there is nothing to agree to before you read the site. The one thing that can set a cookie is a video you choose to play, and only if you play it. That is explained below.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website can store on your device through your browser. They are often used to keep you signed in, remember a setting, or — the kind most people are wary of — to track what you look at across different websites. This site uses none of the tracking kind.
Cookies we set: none
Reading any page on this site sets no cookies at all. We don’t use analytics cookies (we don’t count or profile visitors this way), we don’t advertise, and we run no marketing or cookie-consent-manager cookies.
Embedded YouTube videos
Some pages include a YouTube video. We embed these through YouTube’s privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com service, and a video only loads when you press play — not when the page opens. So:
- If you never play the video, no YouTube cookie is set.
- If you do play it, YouTube may set cookies on your device to run the player. Those are YouTube’s cookies, set under Google’s terms, not ours.
You are choosing to load that content by pressing play, which is why there is no separate pop-up for it. If you would rather not, don’t press play — you can watch any of our videos on YouTube directly instead. And you can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time (see below).
Security
The site is served through Cloudflare, which protects it from attack and helps it load quickly. On a normal visit we don’t see Cloudflare set any cookie. If that ever changed — for example, if we had to switch on a challenge to block malicious traffic — any cookie set would be strictly necessary to keep the site secure and available, not to track you.
Managing cookies in your browser
Every browser lets you see, block and delete cookies through its privacy or settings menu. Because this site doesn’t set tracking cookies you shouldn’t need to, but the control is always yours.
Your personal data
This page is only about cookies. For how we collect, use and protect any personal data you give us — and the rights you have over it — see our Privacy Policy.
